Company Background
Crown Pacific Biotech is a wholly owned company of Charoen Pokphand or CP Group. CP Group is the world's largest feed manufacturer, the conglomerate manufactures about 16.5 million metric tons per year of industrial feed products in roughly 150 feed plants spread among a dozen countries.

History

Crown Pacific Biotech premix plant was conceptualized and designed to become the model and the most hi-tech premix plant among a dozen currently operated by the CP -Group.

In July 2001, construction of the premix plant began and was completed in November 2002 having a capacity to produce 4,000 MT of premixes per month. During its maiden month of production in December 2002, initial volume of 200 MT was attained which steadily increased. At present the facility produces an average of 1000 MT with peak production reaching as high as 1,300 MT, making Crown Pacific the biggest premix manufacturer in the region.

Crown Pacific Biotech's recognizes the growing demand and increasing pressure from regulators, industry buyers and consumers for food that is safe and of the highest quality. Proactive and preventive approach of implementing quality management systems is more effective and less costly than simply responding to concerns as they arise.

Fully embracing the feed to food concept, in April 2004 Crown Pacific Biotech achieved the arduous task to be recognized as HACCP certified company from PSB Singapore (member of the internationally renowned certification network IQNET).

January 2005 saw yet another development in Crown Pacific commitment to reach highest quality standards at it attained ISO 9001:2000 certification from the same world distinguished certifying body.

Hi-Technology
Crown Pacific Biotech plant is the most advanced state-of-the-art premix manufacturing facility. We are the only premix plant in Asia having completely integrated bar coding system, it is fully automated and computerized using a very expensive system to guarantee full surveillance of its operations beginning right from when materials are received and stored until finished products are shipped to the customers. To minimize human error, reduce labor cost and most importantly to ensure production to ensure production of the highest quality products for the livestock industry.
