Crown Pacific Biotechnology was established in 2003 in Singapore and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Group with state-of-the-art production facilities focused on manufacturing of premix and feed additives for distribution in all of Asia.
Crown Pacific Biotechnology premix plant was a repurposed Chia Tai Feedmill, also a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Group.
Chia Tai Feedmill was originally incorporated in 1974 with feed production meeting the needs of farms in Singapore. However, in 1985, the Singapore government announced the phasing out of swine farming which led to the feed mill being eventually repurposed into a premix plant for vitamins, minerals and feed additives for poultry, livestock and aquaculture.
This site is now the location of all newly built high-tech production plants for Crown Pacific Biotechnology.
